Ummahaatul Mu’mineen Institute – Dual Logo Identity Project

Purposeful Identity for Holistic Qur’anic Learning

We had the honor of crafting two distinct yet unified logos for Ummahaatul Mu’mineen Institute, an institution known for excellence in Qur’ān education, Ijaazah programs, and Warsh recitation. As the institute expanded to include male-focused education (ABI), a new visual identity was requested to reflect inclusivity while preserving the original spirit.

Project Overview

The first logo represented a women-led Qur’anic institute emphasizing strength, knowledge, and light. With their expansion in 2024, we were commissioned to design a new logo showcasing both male and female education tracks under one institute.

What We Did

  • A symbolic design combining both genders under one banner
  • Iconography reflecting knowledge (light bulb), discipline (gear), and Qur’an (script)
  • Maintained circular structure for continuity
  • Clear visual distinction between male and female learning pathways
  • Scalable design for digital, merchandise, and course materials

Outcome

  • Elevated the brand’s identity during its expansion phase
  • Strengthened visual consistency while accommodating new audiences
  • Fostered recognizability across platforms for both female and male students
  • Reinforced professional image and institutional trust
